Two Cluster Nodes can be connected directly using one PCI Express cable with an iPass connector. The link width is x8 ("times 8", 40Gbit/s bandwidth).

Up to 8 Cluster Nodes can be connected to one IXS600 switch. Multiple switches can be used to build larger clusters.
