Research partners and projects
Dolphin and Simula have entered into a strong collaboration to research and develop software and hardware to realize advanced unified PCI Express networking solutions. The main focus is to integrate compute accelerators (GPUs, FPGAs, Intel Phi) and storage components with optimized PCIe networking stacks and protocols. The activities are supported by the Norwegian Research Council, and there are currently 5 master grade students and 1 PhD student working on the project. www.simula.no |
The Department of Informatics at the University of Oslo takes lead in a new Center for Research-Driven Innovation (SFI) which aims at developing novel technologies to significantly improve our ability to extract and exploit information from enormous data stores in practice.
